A LETTER TO EBRAHIM BHAM – INTERFAITH KUFR PRAYERS, DELAYING THE JANAAZAH, THE HARAAM KAAFIR-TYPE FUNERAL SERVICE OF KATHRADA – RADIO ISLAM & THE ‘JAMIAT’

 

Kindly view the letter below which was sent to Deviate Ebrahim Bham who happens to be part of ‘Radio Islam’, Mudhilleen-UUCSA and the Fordsburg Jamiat which deceptively parades as ‘Jamiatul Ulama South Africa’.

The inclusion of a flagrant Faasiq – a person who openly and publicly breaks the laws of Allah – such as Ebrahim Bham– into the ‘Jamiat’ and ‘Radio Islam’ speaks volumes of the Islamic status of ‘Radio Islam’, the Fordsburg Jamiat and the Mudhil-Middelburg-UUCSA. Does this corrupt Radio Islam-Jamiat Fordsburg-Mudhilleen-Middelburg UUCSA even have one proper Aalim?

The so-called ‘Ulama’ and ‘Muftis’ and ‘Darul Ulooms’ who support ‘Radio Islam’, the ‘Fordsburg Jamiat’, Mudhilleen-Middelburg-UUCSA and Ebrahim Bham, are undoubtedly betraying the Deen. May Allah save us from the Fitnah of these Mudhilleen, Ulama-e-Soo and Dumb Shayaateen. Ameen

Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: “He who remains silent when the Haqq is trampled upon, is a dumb Shaitaan.”

It is indeed a great tragedy to note that you have participated in the Haraam funeral services of Mr. Kathrada. Have you even realised the amount of Haraam you publicly indulged in. Have you realised how much you are misleading the Ummah?

Do you regard the following acts to be Haraam or not? If yes, then why have you participated in all of the following Haraam?

  1. DELAYING THE JANAAZAH: The Janaazah was unnecessarily delayed. You published the death of Kathrada on 27 March, and you also published that his burial will be on 29 March. Are you unaware of Nabi’s Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam command of haste with regards to the burial of the Janaazah? At the Haraam memorial service, you quote Qur’aanic Aayaat and Ahaadeeth, but you publicly, shamelessly and audaciously violate the commands of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. You spoke of Kathrada and justice. Is it justice to the commands of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam to delay the Janaazah for so long? Mr. Faasiq ‘Moulana’ Bham – for how long are you going to carry on like this? Publicly betraying Allah Ta’ala and His Rasool Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam! Is this called justice to the Deen and the Ummah?

Your corrupt so-called Jamiatul Ulama South Africa (sic) and your Shaitaani so-called ‘Radio Islam’ also published the details of Kathrada’s burial. But not a single one of you criticized this as un-Islamic and khilaaf-e-Sunnat. If the Mujlisul Ulama delayed a Janaazah (Allah forbid), then what would have been your reaction and the reaction of ‘Radio Islam’, your Jamiat, your Sanha-buddies and the balance of your ilk! Maybe an article condemning this practice would have appeared on the Radio Islam website. Why did the Jamiatul Ulama South Africa (sic) not condemn this evil practice of delaying a Janaazah which is a Kaafir practice?

The above point suffices to explain the condition of that Molvi who happens to be part of the shaitaani ‘Jamiatul Ulama South Africa’ or the Shaitaani ‘Radio Islam’. How can one be part of an organization (like your Jamaitush Shayaateen in this case) which flagrantly violates the Shariah? It is indeed astonishing to observe how some so-called Darul Ulooms are bootlicking, and/or fence-sitting and/or shamelessly defending the Haraam your Jamiat is involved in! The Ulama-e-Soo are finding it more and more difficult to hide their Mudhilleen status, especially in these days.

It would be interesting to know your daleel (proof) for delaying the Janaazah. Your shaitaani ‘Jamiatul Ulama South Africa’ boasts of having hundreds of ‘Ulama’ as members. Let us see the expertise of the hundreds of your Ulama in the art of satanic misinterpretation of the Shariah!

Your attitude towards the delaying of the Janaazah also clearly indicates that you treated very lightly the Shar’i law of hastening the Janazah of the Mayyit. This is Istikhfaaf (treating any Deeni act lightly) and you should know that Istikhfaaf is Kufr! You practically showed no importance whatsoever to the commands of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. And this is dangerous for one’s Imaan. For an Aalim to behave like this is akin to Kufr!

  1. THE FUNERAL SERVICE: Was Ahmed Kathrada a Kaafir? If not, then why did you treat the Mayyit of Ahmed Kathrada as if it was a Kaafir body which deserved a Kaafir-type funeral service? Why did you not object to being part of a Kaafir-type funeral service? Are you unaware of the Freedom of Religion we have here in South Africa which does not exist in many other countries? Why are you trying to hamper our freedom to practise freely on Islam by actively being part of a Haraam function? Do you think the prayers of all the Kuffaar at the Haraam funeral service will please Allah or anger Allah? The Funeral service was Haraam from beginning to end. It was way off the mark. Is this called justice to Islam and the Muslim community? You think that you are gaining support of the Muslim community, but you don’t realise that only morons agree with you!

 

Why did you not tell the Kathrada Foundation, the ANC and whoever else, that this type of funeral is not permissible for a  Muslim. If they wanted to keep a  service of some kind,  Muslims should not be
involved. It  should have been their own affair in which Muslims will have no part. But perhaps you  are no longer a Muslim, therefore, you accepted and organized the kufr affair.

Faasiq Zindeeq – Have you ever read Kitaabul Imaan? Do you even know the Aqeedah of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah? Do you know how important Imaan is?

Kindly read the following which is an example of an act of Kufr: “10. One who perpetrates an act which is a specific sign or feature of kufr, e.g. wearing a cross; standing with reverence in front of an idol.”

Now, these Kaafir-type Funeral services are alien to Islam. The Kuffaar have funeral services like this. They are trade-marks of the Kuffaar! They are distinct signs of Kufr. Participating and showing respect to such Kaafir-type Funeral Services is in fact Kufr. It is real Kufr which you have participated in. If you regard these Kaafir-type funeral services to be permissible, then your Kufr status is confirmed. You behaved like a Zindeeq by participating in the Haraam Kufr funeral service. Even if the Kufr funeral service was for a ‘Muslim’ or a ‘Moslem’, it is Haraam and Kufr for a Muslim to attend and even worse – participate in such a Kaafir funeral service.

Is attending a Church on Sunday and being part of Kufr prayers not an act of Kufr for a Muslim who knows that such an act is Haraam! Even the Fussaaq Juhala of our Muslim communities will not attend a church as they know that their Imaan is in danger if they attend a church. You are known as the secretary-general of the Fordsburg Jamiat! But, you don’t care about your Imaan! If you really had concern for your Imaan, you would not take part in a Kufr funeral service. In fact, even attending  the Kufr funeral service is Haraam Kufr. But yours is attending, participating, rendering ‘prayers’ , selectively quoting the Qur’aan and Hadeeth at a Kufr function and also acting like a ‘big-shot’!

Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: “He who imitates a nation, is part of them.”

You know that the above-mentioned Hadeeth was recently quoted by Faasiq Faisel Patel of the so-called ‘Radio Islam’ as “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” You may ask the Faasiq Patel chap for a reference. By attending the Kaafir-type funeral services, who are you imitating? Who is Radio ‘Islam’ imitating? Why do you imitate Archbishops, gurus, priests, rabbis and reverends? Why does Radio ‘Islam’ imitate the Kuffaar? This is because you all are Shayaateen who seem to enjoy listening to Kufr and Shirk as all of you had recently done at the Kufr funeral service? Mr. Bham – remember this is not the first time that you are participating in a Kufr funeral service. You previously were part of the Kufr funeral service of Mandela! Whoever imitates Zindeeqs, is one of them!

  1. THE INTERFAITH PRAYER: There was also a Haraam interfaith prayer in which you participated! We make Dua solely unto Allah and we believe in only One Allah as you supposed to know. But, to whom did the Archbishop pray? To whom or to what do Gurus pray? Who does a Rabbi worship? Who does a priest pray to? Who does a reverend worship?

Is it permissible for Muslims to be part of Interfaith prayers? What do you think is the law according to Allah and His Rasool Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam? You quoted a Quraanic Aayat pertaining to the establishment of justice amongst mankind in your interfaith reverend-type prayer! Does the Qur’aan tolerate worship to any other god besides Allah? Does the Qur’aan tolerate Kufr and shirk? Do you enjoy listening to the Kufr and Shirk of Gurus, Pundits, Archbishops, Rabbis, and not to forget – Reverends? Are you showing justice to the Qur’aan by being part of an Interfaith gathering?

We are not allowed to ‘pray’ with Kuffaar – you should know that! Your action of participating in Kufr interfaith prayers in fact promotes Kufr! Your participation creates the impression that it is permissible for Muslims to take part in interfaith prayer sessions! How can a Muslim tolerate Kufr! Tolerating Kufr prayers is in fact Kufr! And this is what you exactly did in practical terms!

Faasiq Bham – you know or you supposed to know that it is Haraam to even enter a church! You behaved like a reverend at the Methodist Church in 2001 where there were most probably only Christians. Now you publicly engage in an interfaith prayer – even though not in a technical ‘church’ –  in front of thousands of Fussaaq – some being present and many others watching the Haraam interfaith program on Haraam Video! Muslims are starting to regard these Haraam Kufr interfaith prayers to be permissible. You cannot say that I am wrong for declaring the Interfaith prayers as Kufr because it is an undeniable fact that Kuffaar worship a deity besides Allah. How can you tolerate such Kufr? How can you be part of such Kufr? How can any Muslim – the worst Faasiq even – be part of a prayer where Shirk is committed! A place of Shirk and Kufr is an abode of the Shayaateen! It is not a place for Muslims.

I mentioned above ‘technical church’ because the tent in which the Kaafir Haraam funeral service was held is in fact in the ruling of a ‘church’. Whilst it is not a permanent church, it is a temporary church for the funeral service. The only thing missing was a cross for the reverends who participated. Instead of a cross, a huge Haraam poster (Haraam even according to liberals like Mufti Taqi) was behind the speakers and ‘worshippers’ like yourself. So instead of the cross, you had a poster or rather we say an idol (your Jamiat says icon), whom you obviously did not ‘worship’, but you merely praised him in conflict with the Qur’aan and Hadith which you selectively quote to serve the Hubbe-Jah interests of your secretary-general status of the Fordsburg Jamiatush Shayaateen – not Jamiatul Ulama!!!

Although, it was a Kaafir funeral service for a ‘Muslim’ – a ‘Faasiq’, what next? When are you going to be part of an interfaith funeral prayer service for a non-Muslim where obviously you will pray for a dead non-Muslim? Obviously for Mandela’s funeral service, you recited only Surah Faatiha and some Muftis (your type – not the Ulama-e-Haqq) were very ‘proud’ of you. What is the purpose of reading Surah Faatiha at a Kaafir funeral service? Are you waiting for a ‘daleel’ which will say that you can pray for a ‘dead’ kaafir as well? Just search on the internet and you will find many Murtads who say that you may ‘pray’ for a dead Kaafir – which (we hope) you also agree to be Kufr.

Since you should accept that praying for a ‘dead Kaafir’ is Kufr, don’t you think for a moment that sooner or later Shaitaan could also convince you of it (praying for a ‘dead Kaafir’) as also being permissible just as how Shaitaan has convinced you to participate in the Kufr funeral service, just as how Shaitaan has convinced you that TV is permissible, just as how Shaitaan has convinced you that you may go to a church and just as how Shaitaan has convince you that you may praise Fussaaq like Kathrada and even Kuffaar like Mandela! What do you think about this? When Shaitaan is so convincing, it should not be too late for Shaitaan to ultimately drag you into Kufr – not close-to-Kufr acts – or hidden Kufr – but real open Kufr! Are you not bothered about your Imaan that you participate in Bid’ah, Fisq, Fujoor, Haraam, Be-Hayaa functions and acts which are akin to Kufr???

  1. MEN AND WOMEN MIXED: Intermingling of the sexes was rampant at the Kaafir funeral service. Has intermingling of the sexes also become Halaal according to you? The Fuqaha criticize intermingling of the sexes. The Qur’aan and Ahaadith explicitly forbid it! Are you unaware of this fact also! Since when has this sin become Halaal according to your Jamiat? If you allow women to the Masjid, then you might have to legalize this prohibition too…

  1. THE PRESENCE OF WOMEN AT THE CEMETERY! Women at the Cemetery – such women are cursed. This is explicitly mentioned in the Fiqh Kutub. If you don’t speak against it, people will regard this Haraam act to be Halaal. Why don’t you speak against this evil? What is worse, the Muslim women were also amongst graves of the Kuffaar. You allowed Kathrada to be buried next to a Kaafir!

  1. FEMALES AT THE KUFR FUNERAL SERVICE: The presence of females at the funeral service, etc. is Haraam! There was even a female speaker. This is Haraam! Faasiq Bham– you knew that women would be present, yet you went there. What difference is there between you and the MJC? The Shaitaans of the Fordsburg Jamiat and the Shaitaans of the MJC are identical. You are all Fussaaq – the lot of you cannot be trusted on matters of Halaal and Haraam. A person who openly does not care for the Deen and the laws of the Shariah can never be trusted. This is the state of your Sanha, your so-called Radio Islam, your ‘Jamiat’ and your Middelburg-uucsa! The bunch of you deliberately commit Haraam and you also justify it! Is this not disrespect to the Deen and to the ‘knowledge’ you people learnt and acquired at the Darul Ulooms and Madaaris???

  1. PRAISING A FAASIQ: Tell us what Deeni credentials did Kathrada have? The man has passed away. We do not wish to speak bad about him. Allah will decide regarding him. But, how can it ever be permissible to praise and eulogize a person who never had a beard, dressed like a Kaafir, married a kaafirah, perpetually mingled with the kuffaar, took photos, etc. etc? Are you unaware of the laws pertaining to Fussaaq? Eulogies and tributes for a Faasiq!!!

  1. PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOS: You also allowed yourself to be photographed and videoed. Your photos appeared even on the front page of a newspaper. Even according to your favorite Mufti Taqi, this is Haraam. You should know that this is Fisq. So what tricks do you play when you quote Mufti Taqi! You appear on ITV. ITV had a film for Kathrada! Is this Film Haraam according to you and Mufti Taqi? And also remember that a Faasiq cannot be a leader to the Muslim community – maybe a leader to morons – not to genuine Muslims who are interested in Deen and the Sunnah!

  1. MUSIC: There was music at the funeral service. When is your Jamiat going to make music Halaal? You have made photos and TV halaal! When is beer and Riba (interest) going to be Halaal? When are you going to say that the beard may be shaved? When are you going to say that women don’t have to wear Niqaab? Start to twist the hands of your so-called Muftis from now. Maybe they can find a loophole for you. It won’t be long when your type of ‘ulama’ will declare these things to be Halaal. We are nearing Qiyaamah – It has to happen, but from which Ulama-e-Soo…….

You people are already baselessly claiming that women can go to the Masjid and the Eidgah. You are trying hard to make this Haraam act to be Halaal. You should know that the Hanafi Kitaabs state that it is Haraam (not permissible) for women to attend Masjids, Eidgahs, etc. but you are trying to misinterpret the Fuqaha. Why are you people behaving like this? Is it not easy to understand why you people are called Shayaateen and Ulama-e-Soo? Have you read the Fatwa of Ibn Hajar Haitami on this issue? According to the Shaafi Allamah Ibn Hajar Haitami, you and your Sauf gang are morons. Read and absorb the excerpt below for some salubrious edification!

: “.And, no one will hesitate in prohibiting women (from the Musjid, the Eidgah, the shopping malls, and emerging from the home in general) except a ghabi (moron) who is a jaahil, and who lacks ability in understanding the subtleties of the Shariah …………The correct verdict is categorical Tahreem (i.e. haraam for women to come to the Musjid), and this is the Fatwa. And, this in a nutshell is our (Shaafi’ Math-hab).” (Kifaayatul Akhyaar)

You people are emulating the MJC Fussaaq! Stop emulating the MJC, otherwise very soon, your clique will also receive it’s Orion-type day which does not seem to be in the very distant future!

  1. FITNAH: You are causing a lot of Fitnah. Looking at strange women is Fitnah. Females emerging from their homes for such Haraam is undoubtedly Fitnah. These are more sins which you have publicly participated in and most probably would also defend all the Haraam.

  1. BID’AH CONGREGATIONAL DUA AT THE QABR: You are also like the Bid’atis. In fact, you are a Bid’ati. You participate in customary loud Thikr gatherings such as Gadat and congregational loud Dua by the Qabr. There is simply no proof for congregational loud Dua by the Qabr! What has happened to the Sunnah method? But, a Zindeeq is not expected to practice on the noble Sunnah!

 

  1. KUFFAAR IN THE JANAAZAH SALAAH SUFOOF: How is it that you allowed Kuffaar wallowing in Janaabat to ‘pray’ together in the Janaazah Salaah? How were they allowed to be in the Saffs of the Janaazah Salaah? Again, these Kuffaar will not be praying unto Allah – that is why they are called Kuffaar! You allow Kufr in the Janaazah Salaah! Are you really trying to hide your Kufr and trying to look for loopholes from your Mufti-friends to save you from the Fatwa of Kufr? You should remember that once you commit Kufr, then a thousand Fatwas of no-Kufr will not save you. So don’t play with your Imaan!

 

  1. KATHRADA’S CASKET COVERED WITH THE ANC FLAG: Whilst the ANC has given us our religious freedom, we should practice on our Deen properly. The ANC allows homosexuality, liquor, music and what not! Placing an ANC flag around the casket is not permissible. Let us not betray the Deen by bootlicking the Kuffaar politicians!

 

  1. KATHRADA BURIED NEXT TO A KAAFIR: This is amongst the worst of Haraam acts which you allowed. Why was Kathrada not buried amongst Muslims! You honour a Faasiq buried next to a Kaafir!

  1. TREATING HARAAM LIGHTLY: There was a frame with Kathrada’s picture at the funeral. Is this Halaal according to you? For your Jamiat, ‘Kathrada’ is an icon, but the words of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam ‘the person who indulges in pictures, will be the most severely punished on the Day of Qiyaamah’ is treated lightly. You treat what Kathrada said with honour, but you don’t practically show any honour to what Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam stated, and furthermore you flagrantly violate and oppose the commands and prohibitions of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam! Is this how Ulama are supposed to behave?

I already mentioned Istikhfaaf above. But, your attitude of Istikhfaaf is of a very different Shaitaani degree. It is Istikhfaaf upon Istikhfaaf. Kufr upon Kufr. Darkness upon Darkness! The above are a few sins. There are much more sins. What is your justification for all the Munkaraat and Kufr???

IS IT RADIO ISLAM OR RADIO SHAYTAAN!

  • Your so-called ‘Radio Islam’ had a tribute in the Masjid – the House of Allah – not the house of the ‘jamiat’ – for Ahmed Kathrada! Do you think that Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam would agree to having a program in the Masjid for a Faasiq (in this case Kathrada) who violated the laws of Hijaab, shaved his beard, intermingled with women, dressed up un-Islamically, allowed his photos to be taken, etc etc? Is this how your ‘Radio Islam’ treats the House of Allah? People say don’t call it ‘Radio Shaytaan’, but is it Islamic or Shaitaaniyyat to advertise and broadcast such a program in the Masjid? Are the so-called ‘ulama’ and ‘muftis’ of Radio Islam so corrupt and so Shaitaani that they can’t even understand that this is Haraam? When the so-called molvis of ‘Radio Islam’ are so Shaitaani, then it should not be difficult to understand that it is Radio Shaitaan and not Radio Islam!

  • Your radio ‘Islam’ wants to learn from the life of a Faasiq like Kathrada, but they can’t practice on the words of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam regarding animate pictures! Radio ‘Islam’ publicized the Haraam Kaafir-type funeral service and even your pictures were publicized. Now, is this not Shaitaaniyyat? If so, then your Radio Station deserves to be called Radio Shaytaan. After all, an Islamic Radio station does not propagate and encourage Haraam functions and so much Haraam as Radio ‘Islam’. And to pile darkness upon darkness, your radio station defends all the Haraam. And it is the way of Shaitaan to defend one’s sins. How will true Islam ever spread with Radio ‘Islam’ – I wonder. Yes, shaitaaniyyat such as luring women out of their homes, animate photography, TV, praising Fussaaq in the Masjid, attending Haraam awards, etc etc has become the norm of the radio station. When this is the case, it would be necessary to damn your station as Radio Shaytaan!

  • Radio Shaytaan publicized a photo of the grave with roses on it and a Palestinian flag on the grave. It is Bid’ah to place roses on the grave! This is the way of the Nasaara. Likewise, placing flags is not permissible. It is futile and a waste! They never criticized this evil. Shaytaan loves Bid’ah and evil!

  • Radio Shaytaan published all the Haraam. They were present at the Haraam Kufr Funeral service. They broadcasted Kufr and Shirk! They tweeted #KathradaFuneral Radio Islam will be broadcasting the tribute to #AhmedKathrada live this morning at 10am. #Kathrada @FaizelPatel143 Broadcasting Kufr! It convinces me even more that it is Radio Shaytaan. Jazaakallah for convincing us!

  • Radio Shaytaan interviewed Fussaaq like Irfaan of the MJC and other Fussaaq! They are Fussaaq interviewing Fussaaq! At least they should realise that there is not a single Aalim of the Haqq who will allow himself to come on Radio Shaytaan!

  • Radio Shaytaan published a Haraam poster of Kathrada prepared by some ‘Aaisha rawat 12 yrs’. Firstly, the picture is Haraam. Secondly, they have publicized the Haraam. Thirdly, they encourage and goad ignorant and innocent Muslim youth in the perpetration of Haraam! Really, the arguments in favour of digital animate pictures portray the stupidity of the Fussaaq who argue in favour of Haraam pictography.

Isn’t it time to realise that you will not escape the consequences of misleading the Ummah!!!

YOUR JAMIATUL ULAMA SOUTH AFRICA

The delaying of the Janaazah was published by a group of Mudhilleen who deceptively call themselves ‘Jamiatul Ulama South Africa’. Does this Fordsburg Jamiat of yours agree to all the Haraam mentioned above??? Does Mufti Minty agree with you? Does Ml. Abbas Jeena agree with you? Did all the Haraam become halaal because your Jamiatush Shaitaan Muftis said it was ‘necessary’ to indulge in all of this Haraam??? Did Sanha certify and approve all your actions as ‘Halal-approved’ or ‘Halal-certified’ ???

You obviously wish the Ummah to come on Deen – as we assume on a temporary Husne Zann for you. Now how do you expect the Ummah to come on Deen when you indulge in so much Haraam and you also ‘lead’ them towards so much Haraam! Do you think you are really serving the Deen with so much Haraam? Do you think your Fisq is something to be treated lightly?

Do you think Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam is happy with your participation in the interfaith prayers and all the other Haraam? Do you think Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam will (Nauth-Billah) agree with you if you perhaps wished to proffer ‘the Mukhtalaf Feeh argument’ or the ‘Ghair Munkar par nakeer na karna-argument of Mufti Taqi’ or the famous argument of ‘Zaroorat’ or ‘political necessity’ as your Jamiat ‘Muftis’ might probably say in defence of you!

You don’t deserve to be called a ‘Moulana’ since ’Moulana’ means our leader whereas you are betraying Allah and His Rasool Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam in public with no shame whatsoever and our leaders are not like that. Faasiq Ebrahim Bham – really where is your Aql (your brains) – in your head or somewhere else? If you are a genuine Aalim, then please behave like one! Presently, you might be a leader to deviates, but you are currently not a leader to any Muslim who stands for the truth and who is really concerned about Deen and Aakhirah. You are misleading the Ummah!

“When you are aware of the evil of a person, then do not speak/mention this about him, but search for goodness from him, and speak about it, except in the matter of Deen. If you are aware of it (evil) in his Deen then mention him to the people so that they do not follow him and so that they stay away from him. Rasulullah (Alayhis salaam) said: ‘Mention the faajir with that in which he indulges so that the people stay away from him even if he is a man of status and position.’ And the person in whom you see corruption of the Deen, mention that (to the people) and do not be concerned of his status, for verily, Allah Ta’ala is your Aid, and your Helper and the Helper of the Deen..”

Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) has said:

“Verily, I fear for my Ummah such Aimmah (muftis, molvis, scholars and sheikhs) who are mudhilleen (men who mislead others).”

Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said:

“He, who remains silent when the Haqq is trampled upon, is a dumb Shaitaan.”

Is this how you treat the commands of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam?

“And do not approach near to Zina. Verily, it is shameless and an evil way.” (Qur’aan)

In the above-mentioned Aayat, the intensity and vehemency of the prohibition are such that Allah Ta’ala has prohibited Zina together with all those acts which lead to Zina. To say unto someone ‘do not go close to a specific deed’ is a much more emphasized manner than to tell someone not to commit that specific deed.  For example: To say ‘don’t go even close to stealing’ has more emphasis than to say ‘do not steal’!

Acts which lead to the actual act of Zina are looking at Ghair Mahrams, talking to Ghair Mahrams, touching Ghair Mahrams, intermingling of the sexes, cracking jokes with Ghair Mahrams, flirting, dressing like a prostitute, being in contact with Ghair Mahrams on social media, females unnecessarily emerging from their homes, listening to the singing of a Ghair Mahram, females exposing their faces to Ghair Mahrams, etc. etc. Any act which leads to Zina is shameless according to the Shariah as stated in the above Aayah. In short, abandoning the proper Hijaab system is shamelessly opening the doors to Zina (fornication/adultery).

Whilst proper observance of strict Hijaab closes the doors of Zina, neglecting or discarding any aspect of true Shar’i Hijaab simply flings the doors of Zina open. Just look at the amount of Zina taking place in the Muslim community! This is because we don’t make proper Hijaab. We look down upon those that make proper Hijaab. We take out faults from those who follows the laws of the Qur’aan and the Sunnah and some morons even declare those who observe proper Islamic Hijaab as fundamentalists, radicals, extremists, etc.

Just observe the amount of Zina which Muslims – students, workers and teachers – are involved in at schools, universities, shops, offices, etc. This is not a secret to anyone. Various degrees of Zina take place even in a mixed school or university environment during broad daylight apart from the actual act of Zina which takes place after classes in the boarding rooms, etc. which is the effect of not making proper Hijaab due to being in a Haraam un-Islamic school, college or university environment. When we say that it is Haraam to send your son or daughter to a secular school or a university, then people make incredulous noises.

Let them make a joke and a mockery out of the laws of Allah. Allah is independent! Allah is not in need of us. Islam is not dependent upon us. We are in need of Allah. We are in need of Islam. We are in need of Hijaab. By turning our backs onto the laws of Hijaab which are mainly for our worldly and spiritual benefit, we are merely inviting Allah’s punishment which takes its form in different ways. May Allah save us and May Allah make us understand the importance of observing proper Hijaab meticulously and diligently.

INTERMINGLING OF THE SEXES

Much intermingling of the sexes takes place at the Hartley Fair. This is shameless and the way of Shaitaan. This undoubtedly leads to Zina. They are so audacious that they even publish photos which clearly depict the shameless intermingling of the sexes. Furthermore, many corrupt so-called molvis will be part of the Fair. The Fair is also regarded as ‘Islamic’ by many. This is deception. The Mudhilleen are misleading the Muslim public. The Mudhilleen are:

  • CII – they call themselves Channel Islam, but is it Islamic to be part of a Fair where so much Haraam and so much ‘Zina’ takes place. Zina of the ears, eyes, tongue takes place at this Fair!
  • Radio ‘Islam’ – They are amongst the worst of Shayaateen! Where is Mufti Siraj Desai, Mufti Zubair Bhayat now to criticize the Haraam Fair? Can’t Radio Islam understand that it is Haraam to honour Fussaaq Shayaateen such as Waleed Bata, Zain Bhika, etc?
  • Radio Al-Ansaar –They are treading the path of deviation by indulging openly in photos, videos, intermingling of the sexes, Haraam souks, promoting Salafis like Kamdar, etc. etc.
  • Salaamedia – another Faasiq organization who don’t seem to know what is Hijaab!
  • And many other Shayaateen, Mudhilleen and Ulama-e-Soo!

HARAAM EVENTS

HARAAM UN-ISLAMIC EVENTS, ESPECIALLY IN CITIES LIKE CAPE TOWN, DURBAN, JOBURG, ETC.

There is an avalanche of upcoming Haraam events in Cape Town. These events are described as ‘Muslim’ events. But not even one of these events is Islamic. These events are all in conflict with several laws of the Shariah. They are in conflict with Qur’aan, Sunnah and even Islamic Logic. These events are painted with several names such as spring breakfast, fundraising dinner, Eat n’ treat, High Tea, Silat, etc.

The programs violate the following laws of the Shariah:

  • The entire Hijaab system is abandoned and violated.
  • There is no barrier, curtain or wall between the men and women – this is openly in conflict with the Qur’aan. (Surah Ahzaab Verse 53) The weak argument of ‘lowering’ the gaze is not a licence to break the laws of Hijab.
  • Even, if there is a barrier, it is not permissible for women to participate in these functions, events, fundraisers, etc. Allah Ta’ala commands women to remain at home and only emerge from home for a real Shar’i necessity. None of these Haraam events come under the scope of a Shar’i necessity!
  • Luring women into the public domain for a function which is filled with Haraam acts. This is in conflict with the institution of Hijaab.
  • Women not covering their faces. According to all four Math-habs, it is WAAJIB (i.e. practically FARDH) upon a woman to cover her face in public and in front of any ghair mahram-strangers. The Qur’aan also proves that a woman should cover her face.
  • Women dressed up in immoral Abayas and Jeans and Tops. Jeans and Tops is the shameless dressing of Kaafir prostitutes which some shameless ‘Muslim’ females have adopted. Clothing which reveal the shape of a woman’s body is absolutely Haraam, especially in public. Hijaab is a concept and should not be restricted to certain dress items.
  • Haraam photography. The ones who will receive the most severe punishment on the Day of Qiyaamah are the one’s involved in pictures and photos.
  • Videoing which is so obviously Haraam.
  • Intermingling of the sexes. There is so much proof that intermingling of the sexes is Haraam.
  • Women attending the Masaajid. This is unanimously Haraam according to the Fuqaha of all four Math-habs. The Shaafi Fatwa is as follows: And, no one will hesitate in prohibiting women (from the Musjid and emerging from the home in general) except a ghabi who is a jaahil, and who lacks ability in understanding the subtleties of the Shariah …………The correct verdict is categorical Tahreem (i.e. haraam for women to come to the Musjid), and this is the Fatwa. And, this in a nutshell is our (Shaafi’ Math-hab).” – Allamah Ibn Hajar Haitami.
  • The speakers are all Faasiq. When it comes to Deeni matters, then one should be very careful from who one attains one’s Islamic knowledge.
  • Tashabbuh Bil Kuffaar – most of these functions resemble the conferences, seminars, functions, and events of the Kuffaar. Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said that Muslims will imitate Kuffaar right into the lizards hole.
  • The laws of Hijaab are belittled and brutally murdered at these functions. We speak of ISIS and we speak of Muslims such as the Palestinians being murdered by the Kuffaar, but we murder the laws of Hijaab and Niqaab and we treat all of this lightly. In fact, we have murdered Islam and its Shariah. Why are we so hypocritical and so ignorant of our religion? Why do we find fault with what the Fuqaha said. A good example is our attitude towards Ibn Hajars fatwa regarding women attending the Masaajid!
  • Many women drive cars. This is also Haraam. One does not need brains to understand the evils in women driving. A person who can’t understand why it’s wrong for a woman to drive is very ignorant.
  • Haraam nasheeds. It is not permissible to sing for a public audience. Please see our website for a detailed article on this topic of Nazms and Naats.
  • Music which is so obviously Haraam.
  • Men looking at women and vice-versa. This is a very shameless Haraam act. No wonder there is so much Zina, wife-swopping, etc. in our Muslim communities. It starts off with a gaze, even if it’s unintentional.
  • Functions and events are hosted by evil Ulama who behave like Juhala.
  • Haraam carrion FOOD and Haraam soft-drinks such as JIVE, PEPSI, TWIZZA, FANTA and COKE, ETC. All soft drinks, cooldrinks, fizzydrinks and cold-drinks are Haraam
  • Merrymaking in the name of ‘Islam’. What a mockery to the Qur’aan and Sunnah!
  • Haraam acts of Bid’ah like Salami, Moulood, and congregational Zikr and Jikr without any Fikr for the laws of Allah and his Rasool Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam.
  • All of this is done for money. These are the fake scholars for dollars. The Deen and Allah’s laws of Hijaab are sold for a few cents.
  • Men listening to the voices of women. This is also Haraam! Without necessity, it is Haraam for a man to listen to a woman’s voice. The Shariah declares that it is Haraam to greet or even respond to the Salaam of a ghair-Mahram.
  • Assisting Muslims towards sin and encouraging females to leave their homes for the sake of attending these Haraam functions.
  • The rubbish speaker is able to view the women and the women can view him. Or the men are able to view the lady speaker. This is extremely shameless and immoral. The ‘Ulama’ who are part or who agree to such functions cannever be Ulama. They are instead Juhala-e-Soo’ which are worse than the Cape Town Ulama-e-Soo in which most of Cape Town’s so-called Shaafi Ulama fit.
  • Haraam kuffaar sports and games.

Here are some of the Haraam functions:

  • Masjid Food-fairs, Spring Breakfast, High Tea, fundraising dinners, charity dinners
  • Arabic speaking courses. Marriage courses/retreats and one year intensive courses
  • Souks and fetes
  • Cancer, Mind, and other Workshops under different names and titles.
  • Martial Arts (even if it is for Ladies only)
  • Pampering Time, romantic picnics, braais and tea gardens
  • Royal Banquets, open days and graduations
  • Summer sunset Nasheed shows, comedy festivals
  • Spiritual Retreats, Naqshabandi Chill and Chow, Mawlids, Arwaagh and Loud Thikr gatherings.
  • Peace and unity conventions and other silly conferences.
  • Interfaiths and galas
  • Weddings and all the stupid functions that go with it.

SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL ZAKAAT FUND & FISQ

WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS HOSTED BY THE FAASIQ SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL ZAKAAT FUND

Allah Ta’ala commands all women in Surah Ahzaab, Aayah 33 to remain at home: “And remain in your homes (O Women!)”. The Shariah states that a woman may only come out of her home for necessities. The Shariah itself determines the necessities. In this era, 99% of female emergence does not come within the scope of ‘necessities’.

The Fuqaha are unanimous that women have been commanded to remain at home. It is Waajib for them to remain within the confines of their homes:

  • “… undoubtedly women have been ordered with qaraar fil buyoot (to stay always at home) and they have been banned from khurooj (emerging from the home) because there is fitnah in khurooj.” …….and it is very rare that the gatherings of females are free from fitnah.” (Mabsoot)
  • “And most certainly they (women) have been ordered with qaraar fil buyoot (to stay always at home) Allah Ta`ala says:

And remain firmly to your homes” (Sharah As-Siyarul Kabeer)

Allamah Ibn Hajar Haitami Rahimahullah, A very-high authority in the Shaafi’ Math-hab, has issued a detailed Fatwa wherein he states that it is Haraam for women to attend the Musaajid and the Bazaar. We have mentioned this Fatwa in detail on our website. When it is not permissible for women to attend the Masaajid, then how can it be permissible for a woman to attend a women’s day celebration!

THE HARAAM FUNCTION

The evil program of SANZAF is shamelessly advertised as follows: “SANZAF hosts a Women’s Day Celebration Sunday 30 August 2015 @ Crystal Towers Hotel and Spa. From 09:30am : Limited tickets still available @ R250 per person Women from all walks of life will be given all round five-star treatment at this morning of love and pure inspiration from the delicious brunch to the dynamic motivational speakers. Call xxx or zzz on 021 xxx 0zz5”

The function is Haraam because of the following evils:

  • It is in violation of the Qur’aanic command of women remaining at home.
  • The emergence of females from the home for invalid reasons, which is sinful. A women’s day celebration is an evil, kuffaar, lewd practice. It is pure fisq and fujoor. When women are not allowed to emerge from their homes to attend the Musjid, how can it ever be permissible for them to participate in this kuffaar practice of  evil, fisq and fujoor?
  • The celebration is in emulation of the Kuffaar. Women’s day celebrations are haraam. Thus, it is haraam for even men to attend this vile function of immorality. There is no such a thing as a women’s day in Islam! Every single day is a woman’s day and a man’s day.
  • Women will look at men and men at women. Both acts are Haraam!
  • The dressing of women which is also un-Islamic. The modern Abaaya is shameless.
  • The venue is immoral. The Crystal towers Hotel is a zina venue.
  • Women driving cars is also not permissible because it is in complete negation of Hijaab.
  • A woman’s voice is also Hijaab. Her voice possesses the ability to incite passion in man. She may not unnecessarily speak to men. Speaking to a ghair mahram is zina of the tongue. Nabi (sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: “And, the tongue – its zina is speech (with lust).”
  • And the worst crime is that SANZAF portrays itself to be an ‘Islamic’ organization, but it holds Haraam functions and even boasts about such Haraam on its website.
  • Haraam photography. (Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said that the person who will receive the worst punishment on the day of Qiyaamah, will be those who make/take pictures/photos.)
  • Intermingling of sexes which is Haraam according to all Math-habs.

IS SANZAF RELIABLE?

Keeping in mind what has been stated above, we should be very careful as to whom we should give our Zakaat.  Zakaat is Fardh. When it comes to discharging our Zakaat, we cannot trust faasiq organizations. A Faasiq should not be appointed as one’s wakeel (representative) in the discharge of one’s Zakaat. SANZAF is a faasiq organization. They openly break the laws of Allah such as their flagrant sin of photography, which they openly and heartlessly publicize without any fear for Allah. The evil women’s day celebration organized by this miscreant Zakaat-collecting entity confirms the haraam status of  SANZAF.  It is not permissible to entrust Zakaat or even Lillah funds to SANZAF. The flagrant commission of kabeerah sins conforms the fisq and fujoor of SANZAF.

TRAGEDY IN SA

QIRAAT, QUR’AAN & HIFZ COMPETITIONS

The Glorious Qur`aan, every Muslim knows, is the Kalaam (Word) of Allah Ta’ala. There is nothing more sacred than the Sacred Kalaam of Allah Ta’ala. It is the Muslim’s highest and dearest object of reverence. Any act which detracts from the loftiness and sanctity of the Qur’aan Majeed is accursed and invites the Wrath of Allah Azza Wa Jal. The Qur’aan Majeed as everyone is aware, has been in this Ummah for over 14 centuries. The institutions of Qiraat and Hifz were initiated by Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) and continued down the centuries to the present day. The highest grade of Qurrah (Qur’aan reciters) and Huffaaz were produced in millions in the history of Islam. But never in the annals of Islam was the Qur’aan subjected to the nafsaani mockery and shaitaaniyat which the present day evil people parading as learned men and religious guides perpetrate purely for despicable worldly and emotional aims and objects. The incentive of money as prizes is a dastardly evil.

The glory, grandeur and loftiness of Allah’s Word are miserably put up for sale in despicable displays accompanied by a host of evil activities.  Allah Ta`ala states:

“Do not trade My Aayaat for a miserable price.” (Surah Baqarah: 41)

 It is mentioned in the Hadith: “Verily, Allah elevates some people with this Kitaab (Qur’aan), and He disgraces others with it.”) Muslim – Ahmed – Daarimi – Ibn Maajah- Baihaqi)

“If the Qaari recites Qur’aan for the sake of money, there will be no reward for him.” (Shaami – 6: 57)  On the contrary, there is athaab (punishment) for trading the Qur’aan for the miserable price of monetary gain and nafsaani aggrandizement.

Some of the evils which are associated with the Qiraat and Qur`aan competitions are:

  • The Qur’aan is recited as an act of public entertainment.
  • Beardless Qaaris will darken the gathering with their unholy presence.
  • The judges in the competition at times will be clean-shaven – fussaaq of the first order.
  • Then you might also find the presence of the evil shaitaani so-called ‘Islamic’ radios.
  • Picture-making and videoing and maybe even ‘live’ on ITV (Iblees TV) or TV-Shaitaan.
  • Intermingling of sexes usually take place even if there’s “separate facilities”.
  • The Qur`aan will be subjected to mockery and this is what a competition constitutes.
  • Riya (ostentation) and Takabbur (pride).
  • Then such competitions might even be held in the holy month of Ramadhaan.
  • And there might be even female participation whereas a woman`s voice is purdah.
  • The Qur`aan-e-Kareem is recited for the sake of monetary prizes or a few miserable rands.
  • The element of Tashabbuh Bil Kuffaar is conspicuous.
  • Evils as mentioned above are vindicated and promoted in the name of the Holy Qur`aan.

A question we may ask ourselves to evaluate these contests: Do these competitions have any resemblance with the Un-Islamic Hollywood and Bollywood and the other Kuffaar awards (such as MGT-Muslims Got Talent) or not? How does today’s nafsaani competitions by faasiq Qaaris compare with what the Sahaabah did? And did the Sahaabah stage public group events of this nature?

Therefore, Qur`aan competitions are not permissible. It is making a mockery of Allah’s Kalaam. The photography, riya, etc. are added factors of prohibition which aggravate the mockery. The Qur`aan is not for such purposes. The Qur`aan is not for winning worldly and nafsaani prizes and to see who can read better and nicer. The Qur`aan has to create khushu’ and strengthen the bond with the Aakhirat, not the dunya. But in these satanic competitions, the Qur’aan is made an object of public entertainment.

THE JUBBUL HUZN WARNING OF NABI SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WASALLAM

Q: Do the Huffaaz and Qaaris who participated in the Midrand Qur’aan Memorization Competition come within the scope of the following Hadith?

Once Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said to the Sahaabah:”Seek protection with Allah from Jubbul Huzn (The Pit of Grief).”

The Sahaabah said: “O Rasulullah! What is Jubbul Huzn?”

Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “It is a valley in Jahannum. Every day Jahannum itself petitions Allah Ta’ala four hundred times to save it (from Jubbul Huzn’s heat).”

Someone asked: “O Rasulullah! Who will enter it?”

Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “The Qurraa’ (plural of Qaari) of Riya (show/ostentation), who display their deeds. Verily, the worst of the Qurraa’ by Allah are those who visit the wealthy.” (Ibn Maajah).

A: Yes, these Qaaris come within the scope of the Hadith which you have mentioned above.

In this Hadith a dire warning is sounded to the Qaaris of our era. Qaaris who participate in qiraa’t competitions, who recite for the public to gain money and acclaim are the serfs of the wealthy. Their sights are set on the wealth of people. They recite the Qur’aan Majeed for monetary gain. Most of them are distinguished fussaaq with clean shaven faces or sporting telescopic ‘beards’. They are destined for Jubbul Huzn. It is haraam to attend their qiraa’t sessions, and it is not permissible to organize such qiraa’t competitions and sessions.

May Allah Ta’ala save us all from Jubbul Huzn. Ameen

THE TURKISH MASJID TRAGEDY

One of the worst tragedies had taken place last weekend in South Africa. It is much worse than earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, etc. The damage, which this tragedy has caused, is almost irreparable. Thousands of Muslims have in fact publicized that they have thrown away their Islam because of this tragedy. It is the tragedy of the Turkish Masjid – the kaafir Gulen’s ‘musjid’.

The Turkish Masjid has become a venue for the publication and dissemination  of much Haraam. It has been established to undermine Islam. A Masjid is the House of Allah, but it has been treated last weekend and in the past also as a Kaafir style hall! This is how the Gulen’s temple-masjid is being utilized. Practically speaking, the Gulen’s masjid is not for Islam and true Muslims.  Gulen’s masjid is for Fussaaq and for Zombies. It is not for people of the truth. It is just like a ‘church’ which has minaarets. Nothing else.

It is sad to observe that Muslims are silent with regards to the Haraam Hifz competition which took place last week at the Nizamiye Complex in Midrand. We will now highlight all the Haraam acts which took place at the Qiraat competition over and above all the other Haraam acts mentioned on page 1 of this article.

  • A Haraam expo took place at the Nizamiye complex where food, fashion and fun was advertised.
  • A Faasiq group called ‘Ask Nanima’ publicized it. The Ask Nanima gangsters are fussaaq who aggravate the mockery of the Qur’aan. Stay far away from them as Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: “When a faasiq is honoured, the Arsh of Allah shudders.” It is Waajib to boycott their functions, programs and their home industry expos. Never ever support them and never ever visit their website. In fact, you should criticize them and condemn their evil. Amr Bil Ma’roof Nahy Anil Munkar is the obligation of all    They promote a lot of Haraam acts and Haraam products.
  • Ladies Facilities for the competition and expo are Haraam! Women are commanded in the Qur’aan to remain at home. They are only allowed to leave their homes for necessities. Attending expos, Hifz competitions, etc – not only are they not necessities, they are haraam activities, sacrilegious of the Qur’aan.
  • PHOTOGRAPHY – the person who will receive the worst punishment on the Day of Qiyaamah is the one who indulge in picture-making of people and animals. There are numerous Ahaadith severely condemning this act, and there is complete unanimity of the Fuqaha of all Math-habs on its prohibition.
  • The Master of the ceremony was Faasiq, Mudhil, viz. Mr. Menk.
  • The Masjid was like a cinema with a big TV screen.
  • There were photographers right in the Masjid.
  • The Huffaaz that participated were Fussaaq – the type destined for Jubbul Huzn.
  • The Qaaris who participated were Fussaaq. They are Basheer Patel, Ayoob Essack and Rashid Dhabelia. A person who takes photos is a Faasiq. One who participates in evil functions and competitions is a faasiq. Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: “When a faasiq is honoured, the Arsh of Allah shudders.”
  • It was like a kaafir-style awards evening or Miss Shaitaanah event held in the House of Allah. The ‘Musjid’ was disrespected and dishonoured. Its sanctity was brutally defiled.
  • The following five Shayaateen ‘graced’ the function as well: VOC – voice of the clowns, CII – Channel Shaytaan, Radio ‘Islam’ (more appropriately, Radio Shaitaan) – The Radio of the Joburg NNB Jamiat (No Name Brand Jamiat), Radio Al-Ansaar (i.e. Radio Ansaarush Shaitaan), The Nasaara Radio Station and ITV (i.e. Iblis television) – the favourite channel of deviates and ulama-e-soo’.
  • Faasiqs such as Anver Surty delivered an address in the Musjid!

 A BASELESS ARGUMENT

An Ahmaq ‘Ifta’ student from one of the Darul Iftas has attempted to defend the haraam Qur’aan competitions by arguing that hosting a Qiraat Competition and giving prizes to the best readers would be permissible. It will not be considered to be copying the Kufaar as a precedent if it is found in the competitions that the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum engaged in. However, it should be added that in the manner in which the competition is hosted and the prizes that are given, any emulation of the Kuffaar must strictly be avoided.”

RESPONSE:

  • We have presented many reasons above why a Qiraat/Hifz competition is not permissible. Qiraat competitions never existed in the history of Islam. There are many evils and Haraam acts associated to Qiraat competitions.
  • As far as prizes are concerned, Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: “He who recites the Qur’aan, using it for the acquisition of (worldly gain) from people, will be resurrected on the Day of Qiyaamah with his face as bones bereft of flesh.” (Kanzul Ummaal – Faydhul Qadeer – Mishkaat) The recent Hifz competition held at the Midrand Masjid comes within the scope of this Hadeeth.
  • Then the Ifta student speaks rubbish by saying that it wont be Tashabbuh Bil Kuffaar since a precedent is found in the competitions of the Sahaabah. Firstly, did the Sahaabah have Qiraat competitions? Secondly, Did the Sahaabah stage a public event for their competitions? Thirdly, why is Qiraat competitions only a recent event when the Qur’aan is in this Ummah for more than 14 centuries? Fourthly, The Qur’aan is not meant for Nafsaaniyyat and public shows. The Sahaabah did not compete in good deeds for the sake of worldly prizes and worldly name and fame. Fifthly, what are the precedents and what resemblance does present-day competitions have with the perceived so-called ‘precedents’? There is simply no precedence for the Bid’ah Qiraat and Hifz competitions of Nafsaaniyyat and Shaitaaniyyat!  The Ahmaq has sucked from his thumb falsehood with which he  blemishes the Sahaabah.
  • The Ifta student states that any emulation of the Kuffaar must be strictly avoided. But, these public qiraa’t shows and Qiraat and Hifz competitions are in emulation of the Kuffaar. The organizers of these ‘competitions’ behave like kuffaar. They take photos. Prizes are announced. Women also attend and it is even broadcasted by the Ulama e Soo. Not a single one among the Ulama e Haqq approves these Qiraat and Hifz competitions. Any Sheikh or Molvi who says that the Midrand Hifz competition is permissible, can never be an Aalim of the Haq! Every facet of the accursed competition was in emulation of the kuffaar.

May Allah Ta’ala guide and protect us and the community from the evil and deviation of the mudhilleen parading as ‘ulama’.

SPORTS-FIELDS, SCHOOL-GROUNDS, CAMPUSES, ETC. AND THE SUNNAH EIDGAH

THE SUNNAH EIDGAH

There is a great need for an Aalim/Mufti/Sheikh to understand the disposition and objective of the Shariah before he answers any queries. When one issues a fatwa, then a person is actually saying that Allah and his Rasul Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam are saying so-and-so. Therefore, a person needs to think very carefully before he issues any Mas’alah or Fatwa. Undoubtedly, issuing fatwas is very dangerous and not the work of everyone. In fact, most Ulama are not capable of issuing proper fatwas.

The Shariah stipulates that the Eidgah is an open field located on the outskirts/boundaries of the town. It is not in the middle of the town. Furthermore, it is Sunnah to go to the Eidgah.

The argument that a sports field, school ground, university campus, etc.  is a Sunnah Eidgah is ludicrous. The following reasons explain why:

  • It is within the town. Sports fields and school grounds are not on the outskirts. It is regarded as part of the town/city.
  • A haraam venue. A stadium is not a halaal venue. Just as how a brothel, casino, cinema, pub, church, etc. are Haraam venues so too are a sports field/stadium, school ground, university campus, etc. These are not halaal venues.
  • Soccer, cricket, baseball, basketball, etc. are haraam. Going to secular school, university, ‘muslim’ school, the so-called ‘islamic’ schools, etc. is Haraam. By performing Eid Salaah at such immoral venues, people gain the impression that kuffaar sports, public schools and the so-called ‘muslim’ schools are halaal.
  • Major sins which have become acceptable and respectable norms are committed at these venues. These are  places upon which the wrath of Allah descends. A Muslim should hate such a venue of sin. A venue of sin cannever be an Eidgah even if no sins will take place at the Eidgah.
  • When the Musjid should not be used for Eid Salaah, then to a greater extent such evil places should not be used for Salaah. We also don’t understand how a haraam venue could surpass the Masjid for the Eid Salaah?
  • A Muslim should not be present at mal’oon places. These sportfields and school grounds are Mal’oon (accursed) places.  Allah’s’ curse is on them. What virtue is there on such grounds?
  • There is no need to use any of these places since there are ample empty grounds on the outskirts available for Eid Salaah. If there is no empty ground available, then the best of places, i.e. The Musaajid are available. The worst of places are not places which should be used for Salaah. A venue of sin and immorality cannot be equated to the Sunnah Eidgah.
  • Desensitizing an Imaani attribute of Hayaa. A Muslim has much Hayaa and this Hayaa prevents him from visiting a haraam place/venue. Thus, a Muslim will not even buy bread from a pub. A Muslim will not sell popcorn to those who are few steps away from the cinema entrance. His Imaan produces such an aversion for sin in him which compels him to stay away from such accursed places. By choosing a haraam venue, the Hayaa has to be very corroded and the Imaan
  • When an evil venue is chosen for a holy act such as Salaah, then this indicates much disrespect for Salaah.
  • The Sunnah Eidgah is abandoned, and this is fisq.
  • When even the Musjid is not to be used unnecessarily for Eid Salaah, then by what stretch of logic, is a Haraam sportsfield to be used for Eid Salaah?

ARGUMENTS

Some arguments have been presented in defence of Eid Salaah on sportsfields, school grounds, etc. Each and every argument is drivel and misdirected. We came across an article from the UK where the performance of Eid Salaah on sportsfields, school grounds, etc. is defended. The writer clearly lacks in understanding of the Shariah.. In addition to it being unacademic, the way in which the writer reasons and presents proofs, point to the fact that he has a salafi temperament. He refers directly to the Qur’aan and Hadeeth for masaail, but does not understand that neither does he have the competency for ijtihaad, nor is ijtihaad on decided Shar’i issues permissible in this age. Some of their baseless arguments are as follows:

SALAAH IN CHURCH

Some people aver that “It is reported that Ibn Abbas (R.A.) would perform his Salaah in churches if no idols or pictures were present. [Bukhari vol.1 pg.62] Thus if Salaah could be performed at the places of the Jews and Christians, it could similarly be performed at the parks, sports fields etc. (The Salaah will be absolutely valid without any decrease in the rewards).” (end of argument)

Response:

  • Firstly, it is not permissible to refer directly to the Qur’aan and Hadeeth for Masaail. The argument presented in this manner indicates the salafi tendency of the molvi.
  • Secondly, whilst the Salafi wishes to create the impression that his view of Eid Salaah at stadiums, etc. is based on Hadeeth, it is rather his personal opinion bereft of Qur’aanic and Hadith support which shall soon be examined and laid bare.
  • Thirdly, There is a difference between the validity of the Eid Salaah and the Sunnah Eidgah. Whilst Salaah would be ‘valid’, i.e. discharged at a sportsfield, it is not permissible to use a sportsfield as an Eidgah. The Sunnah Eidgah should not be confused with the Eid Salaah. We are speaking of an appropriate venue and not of the validity of the Salaah.
  • It seems as if the salafis have presented this Hadeeth of Ibn Abbas Radhiyallahu Anhu because according to the Fuqaha, one is not allowed to even enter a church or synagogue. This is explicitly mentioned by the Hanafi Fuqaha. When one is not allowed to even enter a church, then how can Salaah be performed in a church!
  • The salafi-type qiyaas presented is fallacious. If idols, pictures, crosses, etc. are removed from a church, then too a Muslim should not perform his Salaah in a church. One does not require brains to understand this fact.
  • Hazrat Ibn Abbaas Radhiyallahu Anhu’s action is an exception. The ‘church’ was merely an empty building. It was not a church like today. It was merely a building which was used as a church unlike the sportsfields, school grounds, campuses, which are currently used for Haraam.
  • Furthermore, the action of Ibn Abbaas is not meant for emulation. It merely indicates the validity of the Salaah in the absence of idols, pictures, etc. being present. We are not arguing about the validity of the Eid Salaah on a sportsground. We did not say that the Eid Salaah on a sportsground should be repeated. All what we are saying is that a sportsfield, campus, etc. is not a Sunnah Eidgah!
  • Since, the Fuqaha have ruled that it is not permissible to even enter a church, the action of Ibn Abbaas Radhiyallahu Anhu may not be interpreted to negate this Shar’i order.
  • The molvi’s averment that “Thus if Salaah could be performed at the places of the Jews and Christians, it could similarly be performed at the parks, sports fields etc.” is corrupt. What is the proof from the Fuqaha that Salaah could be performed in a church or synagogue? The molvi is not a Mujtahid. He is not a Faqeeh. Hence he speaks drivel in conflict of what the Fuqaha have stated. When it is Haraam to even enter a church, then how could it be possible for one to even perform Salaah in such a Shaitaani place? The molvi lacks proof for his claim.
  • A person will be rewarded for the Eid Salaah,but one will not attain the thawaab of the Eidgah at a sportsfield, campus, school ground, etc. How can the thawaab of a Sunnah Eidgah be attained when a sportsground, etc. does not qualify as a valid Sunnah Eidgah???
  • The Hadith of Ibn Abbaas Radhiyallahu anhu does not abrogate the Masnoon practice of the Eidgah. The qiyaas (reasoning) which seeks abrogation of a Law of the Shariah is corrupt and fallacious.

SHOPPING MALLS

Continuing his drivel, he states: “The bazaar is also a place where many undesirable and un-Islamic activities take place. However, if the Salaah is performed at such a place the rewards are still earned totally. It is reported in a narration of Saheeh Bukhari that: “The Salaah performed with the congregation in the Masjid is twenty five times more superior than the Salaah performed at home or in the bazaar (alone).” (ibid) From the above it is clear that Salaah could be performed at the bazaar except that due to it being performed individually the rewards of jamaat (congregation) will not be obtained. However, if the Salaah is performed with the congregation even in the bazaar, the rewards will be twenty five times more than performing it individually. The bazaar has been described in the Hadith as the “worst place on the earth”. When Salaah could be performed at such a place (and the rewards still be attained) it could similarly be performed at the parks, sports fields and the like thereof without the rewards being decreased.”        

Our response:

  • We never argued with regards to the validity of the Eid Salaah at a shopping mall. But validity should not be confused with permissibility.
  • The Eidgah is to be an open field where the built-up area ends. The comparison of an Eidgah to a Bazaar is ludicrously bizarre.
  • We also did not dispute about the rewards of the Salaah. We are speaking of the Eidgah. The rewards of the Eidgah are not attained.
  • It is a not a question of whether Salaah could be performed in a bazaar or not. It is about Eid Salaah being performed at the Eidgah. If Salaah could be performed in the bazaar, it does not mean that Eid Salaah should also be performed in the bazaar or sportsfield.
  • When one performs Salaah with Jamaat in the bazaar, one gets the reward of performing Salaah with Jamaat. One does not get the reward of performing Salaah at the Musjid. In fact, if one does not go to the Musjid, one would be sinful. Without a valid reason, it is not permissible to perform one’s Salaah, albeit with Jamaat, at any other place besides the Masjid. The Masjid is the place for Salaah – not the jamaat khanas at the shopping malls. So just as one would not receive the Thawaab of the Musjid when one performs Salaah at the marketplace, malls, etc. in the same way, one will not receive the thawaab of the Sunnah Eidgah if one performs Eid Salaah at a school’s field. On the contrary, one will be sinful for leaving the Masjid if one does not have a valid reason for not performing Salaah in the Musjid. Similarly, one will be sinful for abandoning the Sunnah Eidgah and utilising an accursed venue such as a schoolfield, sportsground, campus, etc. for Eid Salaah.
  • The salafi arguer then clearly proves his lack of understanding by saying: When Salaah could be performed at such a place (and the rewards still be attained) it could similarly be performed at the parks, sports fields and the like thereof without the rewards being decreased. We are not arguing about the rewards of the Salaah. And what is his basis for claiming that the reward is not decreased for performing Salaat in an accursed place?  Despite the bazaar being the worst of places, it is a place of lawful need which even the Ambiya frequented. School grounds, sportsfields, campuses are never ever regarded as a necessity in Islam. On the contrary, they are accursed places of sin and immorality.
  • The salafi molvi also perpetrates skulduggery by saying that Salaah could be performed at a bazaar. Validity and permissibility of performing Salaah in the bazaar do not cancel  the compulsion of performing Salaah in the Masjid with jamaat. The permissibility of Salaah in the bazaar is an act totally separate from performing Salaah in the Masjid. This argument is completely fallacious.  Eid Salaah should not be performed at even a Musjid –leave alone a bazaar , and moreso an evil accursed venue.
  • Furthermore, shopping malls are not designed as places of Salaah. The place of Salaah is a Musjid. A Muslim only frequents the bazaar, mall out of necessity. One is allowed to go to such places out of necessity – real necessity. Going to the malls for a walk or to pass time is Haraam. There is much Haraam there. When one is not allowed by the Shariah to visit places of Haraam, then by what stretch of Islamic logic, could one actually utilise a Haraam venue for one’s Salaah when there are so many halaal alternatives. Performing Salaah in the mall unnecessarily instead of the Musaajid, is not permissible. A person who is unfortunately trapped in an accursed mall due to need, has no alternative other than performing Salaah there to avoid it becoming qadha. It is not permissible for him to set out from home with the express intention of performing Salaah in  the abode of the Devil. Eid Salaah is not to be performed in the Musjid – forget even the malls and the haraam sportsfields, the evil school grounds, the shaitaani campuses, and the devil’s stadiums.

RELIGIOUS ENVIRONMENT

The lost molvi  then presents the following irrational argument: “Often at such fields religious gatherings take place. A totally religious environment is created. Salaat is also performed. Can it be said that the reward of the Salaah performed there will decreased in any way!?”

Response:

Yes, it will be drastically decreased. The Venue for Salaah is the Musjid, not the haraam place where kuffaar, fussaaq, fujjaar and scum revel and frolic. It is incorrect to use a shameless venue for one’s Islamic gatherings. This is the fundamental error – holding a Deeni activity in a shaitaani venue. These fields are cursed. The wrath of Allah descends upon them. There is so much haraam in kuffaar sports that it makes a person wonder at the ignorance and intellectual deficiency of professed ‘scholars’ who are unable to understand that all these acts are Haraam.  Just as how a cinema or casino zina resort should not be used for an Islamic function, the same way Eid Salaah should not be read at such evil places.

We also do not and did not and are not arguing about the rewards of the Salaah. We are speaking of the Eidgah – not the Salaah. Hosting the Eid Salaah at such venues confers acceptance and permissibility, albeit false, to these  evil places. Everyone is aware that there is no proper Hijaab at the so-called ‘Muslim’ schools; that pornography is taught, and other evils such as music, pictography, haraam sport, etc, are integral to secular schools. The so-called Muslim schools are Haraam. But even Ulama lack Islamic intelligence. They shamelessly send their  children to Jahannam by admitting them to these immoral cauldrons of hell.

Recently, some ‘Ulama’ had a function at one of these so-called “Muslim” schools in the name of Moulana Qaasim Nanotwi Rahimahullah. Choosing the ‘muslim’ school as a venue for an Ulama function indicates the mental corruption of these  Ulama who organised and participated at such a function. It is not possible for an Aalim of the Haqq to have been present at such a function if he had a proper understanding of the Shariah and knew of the evils of ‘Muslim’ schools. Much Haraam takes place at these Muslim schools and yet the Ulama wish to utilise such a venue for their function. After all, it was a merrymaking function and it is obviously not difficult for us to understand why Moulana Qaasim Nanotwi Rahimahullah had stated  that the majority of the Ulama in his time were Ulama e Soo. In today’s time it is 95% or maybe even 99% of the Ulama who are Mudhilleen (misleaders) taking people straight into Jahannam via Shaitaan’s National Highway of propagating, defending and indulging in  Bid’ah and Baatil, and also remaining silent in the face of Baatil.

The slight digression was necessary to highlight the  evil of the venues which are selected  for the Eid Salaah.

THE MASJID

The salafi molvi then states: “The above discussion leaves no doubt that any open field on the outskirts should be used as a Musalla. By performing the Eid Salaah in the Masjid, a Sunnatul Mu’akkadah is omitted and the wisdom and benefits of the Musalla is lost.”

He clearly mentions outskirts, but these parks, sportsfields, school grounds, university campuses are within the built-up area. They are not on the outskirts. When one performs Eid Salaah in the Musjid for no valid reason, then one will be discarding a Sunnatul Muakkadah! So do you think you will be fulfilling a Sunnatul Muakkadah when you perform Eid Salaah at a Mal’oon detested sportsfield which awaits Allah’s impending Athaab? Obviously No! it seems as if the molvi lacks wisdom and he does not understand the harms when one hosts an Eid Salaah at a shameless venue of the devil such as Stadiums, sports fields, school grounds, campuses, resorts, ghost parks, etc. When one will be leaving out a Sunnah by performing the Eid Salaah in a Musjid, then we are unable to understand the stupid wisdom of how it would be possible for one to be upholding the Sunnah when one performs Eid Salaah at the venue of the devil???

The Musjid has  a greater right than the venues of the devil in the absence of a proper Sunnah Eidgah – not a sports field, school ground, university campus, stadium or animal park. This fact could be better understood from the Shaafi’ view that the Musjid is adfhal (better.of greater merit) for the Eid Salaah than even the Eidgah.

CONCLUSION

The self-proclaimed ghost-mujtahids say that Eid Salaah must be on a field. However, they have failed to understand that when the Shariah says a field, it does not mean a mal’oon or evil ground. Furthermore, the Shariah stipulates that it should be where the built-up area ends. Thus, it is in fact a Bid’ah to have Eid Salaah at evil grounds. This displaces the actual Sunnah. We find many salafi-type Ulama contradicting themselves in this regard such as the salafi molvi whom we are refuting in this article.

Furthermore, don’t quote to us the views of this Aalim and that Aalim. If their views are in conflict with the Shariah, then their views will be set aside. We are not Muqallids of the Ulama of Nizaamud Deen, Dhabel, Paalanpur, Patta-pur, Alaska, Iceland, China, Antarctica or anywhere else in the world. We follow the Fuqaha whose verdict is the final word, for they understood the Shariah better than all the myriads of  hollow ‘scholars’ of this age.

Revive the Sunnah of the real Sunnah Eidgaah on the outskirts and let us stop looking for silly excuses. Twice a year, we are not prepared to stand up for the real Sunnah Eidgaah, then when will we ever be ready to defend and uphold the Sunnah of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. A Shaitaani venue or evil place can never be a Sunnah Eidgaah!

Why is it that people are not interested in the fatwas of truth of the Shariah? Why are they so biased? Why do they prefer following the Ulama-e-soo’ (evil scholars)? Despite presenting so much proof, some people are not interested in the truth. It is the addiction factor coupled with ignorance and pride which hinder us from the path of Allah. Kindly read the Ahaadith below and then view the remainder of the article for Allah’s sake. The Ummah is becoming more weaker by the day, and we find that the evil Ulama are making things worse with their so-called ‘Islamic’ radio stations of Shaytaan.

Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: “Verily, in Ramadaan there is a Caller who announces after the first third of the night or the last third of the night: ‘Is there anyone asking for something so that he may be given what he is asking for?  Is there any seeker of forgiveness so that he may be forgiven? Is there any repenter seeking repentance so that Allah may accept his Taubah?”

Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam has said: “Allah Ta’ala descends to the first heavens every night and says: ‘Is there anyone asking so that he may be given what he is asking for? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness so that he may be forgiven? This endures until the time of  Fajr.”

Ibn Abbaas Radhiyallahu Anhu says: “Allah Ta’ala waits in the month of Ramadhaan every night until the first third of the night passes. Then He descends to the first heaven and says ‘Is there anyone asking for something so that he may be given what he is asking for?  Is there any seeker of forgiveness so that he may be forgiven? Is there any repenter seeking repentance so that Allah may accept his Taubah?”

The virtues of the month of Ramadhaan are plenty. The days and nights of Ramadhaan are very auspicious. During Ramadhaan, even that which is Halaal has become Haraam whilst one is fasting. During the day, we are not allowed to eat, drink, etc. When we are not allowed to partake in Halaal, then what does our intelligence tell us about indulgence in that which is Haraam whilst we are fasting!

Fasting from food, etc. is one type of fasting. But the greater fast is abstention from sin. Fasting from sin is the great fast in which many Muslims have failed. Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam has said: “The Fast does not consist of only abstention from eating and drinking. Verily, fasting is from laghw (nonsense/drivel/futility) and vulgarity. Thus if someone should abuse you or act ignorantly (with you), then say:Verily, I am fasting.”

We would unfortunately be wasting another Ramadhaan if we indulge in Haraam. Our fasting would then resemble a self-imposed hunger. Hence Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) narrating a Hadith Qudsi said that Allah Tabaarak Wa Ta’ala says:  “He whose limbs do not fast from My prohibitions, there is no need for his abstention from food and drink for My Sake.”

It should be understood that just as the thawaab (reward) for righteous deeds and acts of ibaadat is multiplied manifold in holy places and at times of holiness, so too is the punishment of Allah Ta’ala multiplied manifold for committing reprehensible acts in holy places and holy times such as the Month of Ramadhaan. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “For many a time for the Saa-im (the fasting person) there is nothing in his Fast but hunger.”

Just as the days are very auspicious, we should not be deceived into believing that the nights are not very holy because of one not being in a state of fasting during the night. Many Muslims show disregard for the Holy nights of Ramadhaan. Abstention from sin is necessary also at night. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Many a time for the Qaa-im (the person who stands in Taraweeh) there is nothing in his Taraweeh but abstention from sleep.”

RADIO STATIONS?

The worst of sins which Muslims perpetrate in Ramadhan is viewing Television and listening to the so-called Islamic Radio Stations. Many people wish to argue away the truth by saying that there is much benefit in these Shaitaan Radio stations and Shaitaani so-called Islamic TV Channels such as ‘education’, etc. Confound the benefits of these stations and understand well that there are benefits in pig, beer, gambling and every Haraam act. Despite the benefits, these acts remain Haraam.

The fact that TV is Haraam is clear. It is photography of animate objects. And this is Haraam. Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: “the worst of people on the Day of Qiyaamah will be the picture-makers.” Thus, watching ITV and its sisters are Haraam. All TV programs are Haraam. It is Haraam to watch Makkah and Madinah Taraweeh. One doesn’t need brains to understand this fact. As far as the Shaitaani so-called Islamic Radio Stations are concerned, the following Haraam acts are associated with them:

  • Women on air: According to all the Fuqaha, it is not permissible for a woman to project her voice. The manner in which women speak over these so-called Islamic stations is absolutely Haraam. Only a jaahil opines the opposite of it being permissible. It is a clear exhibition of jahiliyyah prostitution.
  • Discarding and total violation of Hijaab. It is not permissible for a woman to leave her home in order to participate in a radio program as a presenter, etc. Furthermore, these Shaitaani radio and TV stations violate the laws of Hijaab in several ways.
  • Interviewing women and giving mini biographies of women.
  • Indulging in Photography, Videos, etc.
  • Facebook links and linking people to much Haraam.
  • Airing and propagating Baatil views in the name of Islam.
  • Associated with the Ulama e Soo and The Mudhilleen. We can point out that each and every so-called Islamic radio station in South Africa is associated with evil Ulama. Insha Allah, in the future, we will tackle each radio station separately.
  • Participating in Haraam shows, souks, awards, and functions.
  • Associated with the halaal certifiers such as Sanha, MJC, ICSA, NIHT, etc. All of them are faasiq. They know this themselves.
  • Propagating Bid’ah acts such as congregational loud thikr.
  • Engaging in much futility and drivel.
  • The Radio stations of Shaitaan in the guise of Islam are guilty of imitating the Kuffaar in many of their programs. Their emulation and mimicking of kuffaar presenters and broadcasters is indeed very despicable. Tashabbuh is Haraam and dangerous for one’s Imaan. And, this is a million times worse for Muslim women who mimic kuffaar women like clowns in their  They make apes and fools of themselves when they  attempt to capture the natural mannerism of kuffaar women in their voices  when making their devilish  radio presentations and announcements.
  • Advertising and Promoting Haraam.
  • Allowing Shias, salafis, fussaaq and other rubbishes to come on air.
  • Zina of various degrees on the radio station.
  • Allowing women to phone in during programs. The Molvis and Muftis of these stations are indeed very be-hayaa. It makes us wonder – What did their Ustaads even teach them in Madrasah?
  • Women and men cracking jokes together.
  • Women reading out recipes and news. It is difficult to even believe that ‘Ulama’ come on these stations when they know that so many men are listening to the womenfolk. Did Hazrat Ayesha Radhiyallahu Anha read out recipes and news to the menfolk? Those who come on these radio and TV stations are not worthy of the ‘Ulama’ title. They are among the worse
  • And one of their worst acts is their competitions and dramas in Ramadaan. Can these stations ever be termed ‘Islamic’?
  • Treating the great night of Eid like an amusement night when the reality is that this night is greater than even Lailatul Qadr.
  • Haraam Nazms and Nasheeds. According to all four Math-habs, Nazm Jalsahs and singing Nazms, Naats, etc. for a public audience is Haraam. But these shayaateen of the Radio Stations are not interested in the truth. They are experts at presenting lame excuses and spinning baatil so that it appears halaal to the ignorant masses.
  • Justifying all the Haraam they are involved in.

In this way do they destroy the most auspicious Nights of the year, and along with this destruction, do they ruin the Imaan and Morality of the ignorant masses.

The above are merely a few evils and Haraams associated with these so-called ‘islamic’ radios, which are in fact the ‘forces’ of Shaitaan. These stations are flagrantly and openly aiding evil. It is obviously not permissible to increase the listenership of a radio station which promotes and indulges in such open Haraam acts. It is not permissible to listen to even the ‘good’ of these so-called stations. Your Imaan is in danger with these stations. They will always present all their baatil and falsehood as the truth. As a layman, you will fall in their Shaitaani trap.

According to the principles of Fiqh, warding off harm is incumbent and is  given preference over the acquisition of benefit. The harms and evils of these radio stations outweigh the good by far. Thus, it is not all permissible to listen to these so-called ‘Islamic’ stations. The Ahaadith mention about Allah Ta’ala descending to the first Heaven on these nights while the people are ruining themselves by wasting the holy and valuable nights listening to the evil radio stations and participating in haraam radio competitions. Instead of engaging in ibaadat, they listen to the haraam radios broadcasting their shaitaaniyat. Is this how we as Muslims are supposed to behave?

It is Haraam for men to listen to the womenfolk. Likewise it is haraam for women to listen to men singing nazams. It is Haraam to listen to the Nazms, especially for women. There are many more evils associated. They are in fact leading people astray.

It is thus only a very unfortunate person who is deprived from the mercy of Allah Ta’ala during this month of Ramadhaan in which Allah Ta’ala sends down his special mercy as is mentioned in the Hadith. Indulgence in sin especially by listening to these radio stations or by watching TV is depriving one’s self of the blessing of Ramadhaan. One is depriving one’s self of the special Rahmat of Ramadhaan. This deprivation is  a sign of Allah’s curse on  the radios of shaitaan and on those who waste the holy nights listening to the haraam and the muck of these shaitaani radio stations.

A sinner deprives himself due to his addiction to Haraam. Despite the Shayaateen being chained, we find Muslims indulging, speaking, listening and viewing much Shaitaaniyat during the Holy month of Ramadhaan via these shaitaani radio stations and TV channels. Such a sacred and valuable month, but yet we remain deaf, dumb and blind…

NAZM JALSAHS AND YOUR FAVORITE NAATS

SINGING AND LISTENING TO NAZMS AND NAZM/NAAT/QASEEDAH JALSAHS

This article has been written for those who follow the four Math-habs – those who subscribe to the Waajib doctrine of Taqleed. Those who pretend that they have a right to refer directly to the Hadeeth for proofs are not really targeted in this article. We are Muqallideen and our target is Muqallids – neither is our aim the plastic Mujtahids nor the salafi coprocreeps (Ahle-Hadath – the so-called Ahle Hadeeth).

The issue of singing is simple. It is recorded in the books of all four Math-habs in much detail. There is simply no need for a real Muqallid to bypass the Fuqaha of the four Math-habs in order to ascertain the ruling of singing songs, Nazms, Nasheeds, Qaseedahs, etc. Bypassing the Fuqaha and directly referring to Hadeeth for a Mas’alah is a salient trait of all ignoramuses such as modernists, liberals and the ghair-Muqallideen.

“And the mas’alah indicates that singing alone (without musical instruments) is sinful and likewise listening to it.” (Badaaius Sanaai) – This is the opinion of many Fuqaha despite the fact that some have given permissibility to sing alone in order to banish loneliness – not for entertaining others!

“And the Shahaadat (testimony) will not be accepted of that singer with whom people associate and he gathers people (for his singing Jalsahs).” (Mabsoot) – gathering people for singing (such as Nazm Jalsahs) is very sinful and Haraam! This is mentioned in many kutub.

As far as the rejection of the Shahaadat of a female singer is concerned, it is mentioned:

“because they have perpetrated a major sin due to Nabi Alayhis Salaatu Was Salaam’s prohibition on two repulsive/vile sounds/voices: the Naaihah – the female mourner (not the one who mourns upon her own calamity) and the Mughanniyyah – the female singer…The word ‘Mughanniyyah’ is used in general terms, so it (the prohibition) includes the woman who sings for herself as raising her voice is Haraam contrary to the singing of a man as the prohibition of a man’s singing is when he sings for an audience.” (Bahrur Raaiq)

There is absolutely no difference of opinion among all Authorities of all Math-habs, from the era of the Sahaabah, that singing for an audience is haraam. Such a singer is Mardudush Shahaadah (i.e. his testimony is not acceptable in the Shariah). Explaining this issue, Allamah Ibn Nujaim states the reason: ‘because he gathers people for a major sin’ – Bahrur Raaiq. Professional singing is Haraam according to all four Math-habs.

“The apparent meaning is that singing is a major sin, even if it is not sung for an audience, but even for one’s self in order to banish loneliness and this is the view of Sheikhul Islam” (Bahrur Raaiq)

“The Mashaaikh have explicitly mentioned that to sing for enjoyment/pleasure or to earn some money is Haraam without a difference of opinion” (Fathul Qadeer and other kitaabs) – What are Nazm Jalsahs for? Fun? Enjoyment?

If a person sings to himself in order to ward off loneliness, then it is permissible on condition that one does not sing to one’s self even for enjoyment. The song may not consist of immoral statements, and it should not develop into a habit. This is understood by studying the views of Allamah Sarakhsi, Allamah Kaasaani, Allamah Ibn Humaam, Allamah Aini, Fataawaa Hindiyyah etc.

It is explicitly mentioned in our Hanafi kutub that it is not permissible to attend gatherings of sin. One is not allowed to attend gatherings of sin. Allamah Margheenaani and other Fuqaha. explain this mas’alah very clearly. It is thus confirmed that to attend Nazm Jalsahs is not permissible. The magnitude of this major sin multiplies manifold when this haraam practice is perpetrated inside a Musjid as has become the practice nowadays. There are many more texts of our Fuqaha which prove that Nazm Jalsahs are Haraam. What the Fuqaha have stated, is in fact the view of the Qur’aan and Hadeeth.

NAZM JALSAH INGREDIENTS 

The following evils are attached to Nazms and Nazm Jalsahs which are in fact qawwaali clowning functions.

  • Singing for an audience which is Haraam.
  • Attending a Haraam function.
  • Listening to haraam.
  • Defiling the sanctity of the Masjid.
  • Professional Singing which is Fisq.
  • Honouring Fussaaq such as the so-called Hafez Abu Bakr, Ziyad Patel, Zain Bhika, etc.
  • Gatherings of Fussaaq.
  • The presence of women even if it is in a so-called ‘Purdah’ facility/section.
  • Female emergence from the home for this haraam function is Haraam.
  • Women listening to males singing which is Haraam.
  • Justifying the Haraam misdeeds – the trademark  quality of the Mudhilleen & Ulama e Soo’.
  • Broadcasting over radio or TV the Haraam Jalsah. Women also listen to it.
  • Singing for enjoyment and entertainment which is Haraam even in privacy.
  • Haraam tunes and back-ground sounds.
  • It is in conflict with All Four Math-habs, i.e. the Shariah of the Qur’aan and Hadeeth.

THE RULINGS OF THE FUQAHA

As far as the Ummah is concerned, the final word in any matter of the Shariah is the ruling of the Fuqaha (the Jurists) of Islam, the highest of whom were the Aimmah-e-Mujtahideen such as Imaam Abu Hanifah, Imaam Maalik, Imaam Shaafi and Imaam Ahmad Bin Hambal (rahmatullah alayhim). These were the greatest authorities of the Shariah after the Sahaabah.

The Qur’aan and all the Ahaadith pertaining to an issue were in front of them. It is the height of stupidity, insolence and absurdity for any one in this belated age to attempt to negate and refute the rulings of these illustrious Fuqaha by citing certain Ahaadith which ostensibly conflict with their rulings. It is kufr to refute the rulings of the Shariah which the illustrious Fuqaha have formulated on the basis of the Qur’aan and Sunnah. No one can ever hope to understand the Qur’aan and Sunnah better than the Aimmah Mujtahideen and the Fuqaha in general.

Ignoramuses, zindeeqs and mulhids see contradictions between the rulings of the Fuqaha and the Qur’aan and Hadith. It is the kufr and nifaaq lurking in their hearts, which impels them to refute the rulings of the Fuqaha of Islam.

On the issue of singing and music, there exists a consensus which is as old as Islam. This consensus of the Fuqaha cannot be scuttled by the nafsaani corrupt opinions of the modernist deviates and ignoramuses of this age.

A FINAL STUPID ARGUMENT

We are sorry to say this, but we find even Ulama/Sheikhs of the Idaarahs/Darul Ulooms and Jamiats condoning such Haraam by quoting the Hadith of Hazrat Hassaan Bin Thaabit Radhiyallahu Anhu. We doubt such ‘Ulama’ being true Ulama as they don’t even understand the meaning of Taqleed and they don’t seem to appreciate or even understand the value and role of the Fuqaha.

Hadith is not the function and playing field of a Muqallid. Only Mujtahideen are allowed to pasture in the Field of Hadith. It is deviation (dhalaal) for a muqallid to present daleel from Hadith. It is Waajib for the Muqallid to present daleel only from the statements of the Fuqaha of the Math-hab.

Nowadays, this diversion from this acknowledged principle displays the unprincipled way of argument of the present-day Ulama. Whilst it is permissible to cite a Hadith for a bayaan on moral issues, it is not permissible for a muqallid to attempt to substantiate his case on the basis of Hadith. This unprincipled way of arguing becomes more abhorrent when a stupid muqallid who has become too big for his boots presents a case in conflict with the Fuqaha of the Math-hab.

It is indeed lamentable to observe that in this entire argument of Nazm Jalsahs, Mowlood, halqah and bid’ah thikr, and all other Bid’aat, the votaries of these practices have left out the Fuqaha in entirety. They cite and distort what the Sufiya have said. The Fuqaha are the Physicians of the Ummat. They are extremely far-sighted. They understand the basis and purpose of the Ahkaam. They penetrate to the depth of the Ahaadith, extract the true illat (rationale) of the commands and prohibitions. Then they extend the law of prohibition wherever they detect the presence or the development of fitnah (corruption). They therefore prohibit all forms of singing be it without musical instruments in order to close the avenue of future corruption and moral turpitude. Hence, in any clash of opinion between the Muhadditheen and the Fuqaha, or the Sufiya and Fuqaha, the word of the latter is the Law of the Shariah.. It is the verdict of the Fuqaha which is final and binding.

Such Ghair-Muqallid type of arguments are rejected. The votaries of these bid’ah practices should  present the dalaail of the Fuqaha of the Math-hab whom we are following. Singing which has become an occupation and a profession is not permissible. Such unlawful singing is a predominant feature of nazam-singing which the satanic radio stations run by misguided Muslims have introduced. It is not permissible to listen to the radio-qaseedahs on account of it having become an occupation, entertainment and a money-making profession, and also because of the haraam kuffaar musical tones which accompany the futility of nazams.

The English nazams are particularly evil and haraam due to the kuffaar style and tune of the singing. Nazms with musical instruments/tunes or accompanied by music is much worse and obviously Haraam as Music is Haraam!

One of the most effective tools of enticement which Dajjaal will offer will be music and singing with which he will lure, entrap and destroy people in the cauldron of kufr he will boil for them. May Allah Ta’ala save His servants from this captivating snare of Dajjaal.
